Mike Barnes

Mike has a history of knowing what it takes to be at the top! Mike has been at the top, winning Gold at the National level in Water Skiing, Snow Skiing, Hang Gliding and Hockey. As "Skier of the Year" at World famous Cypress Gardens, Mike epitomizes the effort it takes to be the very best.

During his athletic career Mike always had an interest in computers and how they worked. Little did he know that when he retired from sport at 30 years of age this technology would be his future and the next step to the top. As Mike was nearing the end of his athletic career he was told by a mentor, "if you learn how to sell, you will never be without a job". He took that literally, attending sales seminar after seminar, listening to tapes, reading every book available and practicing what he learned. He soon was at the "top" in national sales.

Mike was quite possibly the first car salesperson to bring his laptop to work when he sold for an independent Toyota dealership in Central Florida. The other sales persons actually ridiculed him when he asked his customers if they had an email address. "Asking for emails was an uncomfortable feeling because only about 2 out of 10 had them back then" Mike says, but it was from this list that he created a huge data base of customers. Knowing what to do with that database, using his computer skills and follow up systems he became one of the Top 10 Toyota salesmen in the United States three years in a row, he even developed his own website before the Toyota dealership had one. Mike understood that with his skills in sales and computer expertise, selling cars was only a stepping stone and he pursued other opportunities.

It was through acquaintances he discovered real estate investing and it was by chance that Mike discovered a website company called "Super Smart Web Profits". Super Smart Web Profits had data base capabilities and follow-up systems already in place. With his expertise in sales, and his knowledge of computers and website design he contacted Dustin Griffin the developer of Super Smart Web Profits and was soon part of the team. As an integral part of Super Smart Web Profits Mike has been instrumental in helping them become the real estate website that all others are compared to. Knowing what it takes to reach the "top" and be the "best" Mike has gained national recognition for his contributions to the real estate investor's community.

While his everyday world is focused on investor websites and teaching this technology to investors, he is continually gaining additional knowledge from gurus such as Dustin Griffin and his team.
